Hi!

We’re Nick and Julie, the two authors of this blog.  We have been health conscious for several years now, experimenting with different approaches to nutrition.  Nutrition is frequently on our minds because we are very interested in the health and happiness of ourselves and our children. Our two children, Isaac and Anika, are ages five and two.

On this site, we share regular posts of our insights and how we’re doing.  Eating healty with a busy life isn’t always easy, but we know it’s worth it.  Since we think about nutrition all the time, we thought it would be very good to share our experience with other families so they can speed up the process of becoming a healthy family. We’ve certainly learned a lot, and we’re continually learning more.

We understand that different people have a different ideal diet for their own body.  On this blog, we share what has worked for us and ask you to adapt our experiences to your own situations and lives.  Every once in a while, we stumble upon a genuine principle that is widely applicable to all, which we will try to convey in a concise and meaningful way you can apply.
